Opened for the inaugural August 1998 and it has been hell on wheels ever since. Starting with the outlandish team names selected. With team names such as the BallBustas,Thors Hammers, Rugrats, Mighty Sheps Mooses, and Captain Snake & the Shrimp Shack Shooters to name a few you know that this league was heading for trouble. The 1st annual summmer draft proved that point, with many teams arriving late and the now ledgendary Pen Fight I between the two senior members of the MCFL, so much for role models.
The 1st pick in the draft goes to Macs Mob and they select QB Brett Favre and the rest is real bad history.
The 14 week 1st season produced 6 playoff teams out of the 10 team league. The final results reflect only the regular season. The playoff results and the eventual SHEP BOWL I winner will be anounced after week # 17 of the NFL season. Stay Tuned...........
